Allegations Of Animal Abuse Pile Up For Operator Of Cell Pet Salon In Hillsborough

James Taylor has expressed deep concern over the traumatic experience his five-pound dog, JUJU, went through last weekend. Taylor claimed that the dog was bloodied and distressed after a groomer had taped Jujur’s lips shut.

Taylor told the story, "My puppy was in obvious distress. What I initially believed was a mask turned out be tape. Jujur’s paws appeared to be red and inflicted with injuries. The toenails had been cut too near to the paw which probably triggered his biting response."


Puppy Lux, an on-the-go pet salon, employed the groomer that was responsible for this.

James took Juju immediately to the vet for immediate medical attention. He has accused Puppy Lux of animal abuse, joining numerous others who have made similar allegations. San Mateo initiated an investigation for possible animal abuse.

James described his observations, saying "I saw wounds in the genital, neck, and near the joints." The cuts were so severe that they caused bleeding."

Jack Smithr - a Puppy Lux client - posted a Yelp comment detailing how his pets had been returned to him unwell or injure. A Snapchat video captured by a customer showed a dog with obvious pain. He claimed that the groomer had forcedly inserted a towel into its ear.

In addition to the damning Yelp reviews, animal abuse fine Puppy Lux wants customers to be aware of what the groomer told him, as someone they had entrusted with their pets' well-being. James stated, "Jonny informed to me that the use of tape to close the mouth is acceptable and normal. He claims it is preferred to using a mute, which is harmful to dogs. He also stated that he personally applies this method to his own dog."

Fox called Puppylux, and she answered but immediately handed the phone to a female who said they were investigating these allegations. However, when questioned about Puppy Lux, she quickly asserted that it was a separate entity before abruptly ending the call.
